Muhammad Aslam Ghani

Mr. Aslam Ghani joined the National Institute of Management Quetta on 11th September 2017 on deputation, while working as Director Revenue in WASA Quetta. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Human Resource Management) from Preston University Islamabad and Urdu Literature from the University of Balochistan. Diplomas in Information Technology, Computer Science, and Graphic Designing. He has around 25 years of work experience on various positions in various organizations/departments. Being Director Revenue, he brought out of the box / innovative changes by launching Web Site, introducing online duplicate bills and online payments. He doubled the revenue in just one year. As Deputy Director of Administration, he single-handedly managed to frame long awaiting QWASA Employees Service Regulations, got it approved/published from a competent forum, which solved a lot of administrative problems being faced by WASA since its establishment in 1989.

In the capacity of Administrative Officer, he set up the Office of the Project Management Unit for one of the mega projects in Balochistan i.e. Quetta Water Supply & Environmental Improvement Project (QWSEIP). He actively involved in educational activities under Non-Formal Education Directorate and written various stories and articles for years. He qualified for the 14thMid Career Management Course in 2012 from NIM Quetta. During his service, he worked with national and international consultants and gained significant experience.

He successfully completed BCURE Training of Trainers as Ambassador of Evidence conducted by Harvard Kennedy School for Evidence & Policy Design in collaboration with Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP), held at NSPP Lahore. Subsequently conducting BCURE (in class) sessions for Mid-Career Management Courses.

He remained a very good athlete, travelled throughout Pakistan on a bicycle, played under nineteen/first-class cricket, and still a good player of badminton.

Mr. Muhammad Qasim Gujjar
Account Officer
He has joined NIM, Quetta with effect from August 2020 on deputation basis and currently performing his duties as Accounts Officer and carrying out overall functions related to Accounts or Finance. He holds Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) from NUML, Islamabad, and Master in International relations from the University of Baluchistan, Quetta, and Qualified / Affiliate Public Finance Accountant from Pakistan Institute of public finance accountants (PIPFA) Karachi. He is also an associate member of PIPFA (APFA). He has attended a number of on-job training and courses related to Audit, Accounts, and Public Finance Management. Before, his joining at NIM, Quetta he has been serving as Assistant Accounts Officer (BPS-17) at Controller Military Accounts (Quetta Command) Office, of Pakistan Military Accounts Department (PMAD) under the Ministry of Defense. During his service, Mr. Muhammad Qasim served at different formations and sections such as HQ southern command Quetta Cantt, FPO HQ EME Corps Centre, controller’s main office pay section (Army/Civil), Pension sub-office, GP Fund, DSP Fund sections, TA Section (Army) and Officer Incharge of Military Accounts Training Institute (MATI) Quetta. He has performed inspection duties as an active member of different committees i.e. hiring, computerization. He has also participated as an active member in arrangements and conducting of seminar and workshop and got appreciation from the competent Authority Besides, his official career he holds a firm experience of teaching and training as an instructor and trainer. He has conducted a number of short training/courses at Military Accounts Training Institute (MATI) Quetta and Army unit as a trainer. He has conducted training classes of newly appointed Senior Auditor (B-16) (2017-2018) at MATI Quetta. He has been nominated Instructor (Faculty) for New Accounting Model and Military Accounting Procedure by PIPFA for Quetta Station.
